[#0000FF]You've been snorting the smelly jelly again...or you're suffering from oxygen deprivation from fishing inside your tent. Daytime temps in the 40s and nighttime temps only slightly below freezing will not produce more ice.
The deterioration will continue after the brief frontal system moves through. Hopefully we continue to get more snow in the watersheds.

Trust me I'd rather have it open water for bass fishing big time but more snow I'd be hopping for big time so I can check out new spots on dc for the bass on my 5 wt fly rod.

Yes after it almost cooled to normal briefly but the next week is forecast to be above normal. Wasn't much refreezing if any at most locations. With lengthening days, brighter sun and higher temps all the lower elevation ice will be receding before you know it.
