Pete Jr. didn't want a report posted about our Sunday trip because dad wasn't successful and didn't have his picture taken. Well, that's not all that unusual, he outfishes me quite often even though I'm frontending him in the back of the boat with the bow pointed into the current. We fished out of Riverpark and put in 9 hrs. again working hard except for a nice lunch break.. The flow was 47K cfs and the surface temp. was 46-48.

He started us out with a 17.75 in. smallie on a crankbait. Then he caught a nice green fish on a jig/pig. Late in the day, byt he time we got downtown he got a 19.75 in., 3 lb. 13 oz. smallie on a jig/pig. He also got 4 spots, 2 of which were really nice fish, one or 2 caught on spinner baits and the rest on jig/pigs, don't know why we didn't take their pics. We also got a boat load of drum, mostly on jig/pigs. He used his homemade jig/pigs and I didn't, possibly made a difference, but I doubt it, the skill of the fisherman is more likely. My contribution was a small spot and 4 or 5 drum but Pete was the drumking too catching several more than I did (with all due respect to Dickey, the real "Drumking&quotWink.

All fish released. Very enjoyable day with nice weather and great company!
