A bit late on this post. Hit Starvation last week and did pretty well. It's ice free, so we set out to get the tuna can on the water for the first time of the season. Got there at daybreak, launched the boat, and lo-and-behold, sprung a nasty leak in my fuel line. Ugh!

So, with a taste of discouragement in my mouth, decided we were there and might as well bank tangle. We tossed a few jigs, crankers, spinners, etc. No dice. Then decided to go the 'bait and wait' route. Bam! Big hit - missed it - twice. After about 30 minutes my cousin landed a pretty nice little brown then nothing for 2 hours! What is going on here? Lol. We moved to some deeper water and nailed 18 to 20 inch bows for the entire rest of the day.

All in all, a very enjoyable day on the water. Even if i spent gas to haul a boat that didn't get used. [Wink]
