Full Version: Idaho Perch Record Broken - Again!

Well, the Idaho state perch record was broken again last week at Cascade Reservoir. It weighed #2.73 (2lbs. 11.68 oz.) and measured 15.75" with a girth of 12.75". The previous record lasted about two weeks. Evidently, the dad of the girl who caught it just missed breaking the record a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing he knows where the big ones lurk. Here's a link to an article from the Idaho Statesman:

I've also attached a photo. What a beast!

Wow! That fish is a football. Imagine how big that age class could be next winter when I will hopefully have a chance to fish Cascade. Thanks for posting the story. Your link to the photo didn't work for me but there is a photo of the young lady and her fish with the article.
