Dr Phillip Gawthrop called me last night as asked if the we could catch any fish today. I said that we could try. We did. Caught a lot of little crappie, but didn't manage to scratch out 16 keepers out of about 70 fish today.<br /><br />It was a lot of fun. I don't know how many 9.75 inch crappie there are in the lake, but we sure caught a bunch of them today. We caught them pretty shallow on a submerged island or bar. Of course Bobby Garland plastics were the ticket. We only fished with Slab Slayers today. Our colors were Electric Chicken, Outlaw Special, Patriot, Full Moon, Screamer, Albino Shad, and there may be another color, but none comes to mind right now. 2 days in a row of fishing has left me tuckered out. emoBig <br /><br />It was a beautiful day. Water temps starting off were 49+ but got up into the low 50's by the time we quite fishing. (1:30 pm) We fished stumps mostly that were on the bar or submerged island. We used both 1/32 and 1/16 oz jig heads. we did catch a few under docks today too.<br /><br />That's it. I'm going to take a nap. emoBig emoGeezer
