when does the dam to the Jordan river open up to let more water into the jordan river?

I've seen it open in the past as early as mid winter and as late as may.
Learn how to take advantage of the low water for the first mile and a half below the dam during winter and you'll have a hoot with the panfish and walleye fishing untill it comes back up.
