I know this can be construed as a minor thing but does anyone know when the star starts putting the courtesy docks back in after ice off?

Seems to think it's about Memorial day, before free-fishing day hits.
Though that will vary by location, and who manages a given water.

But it oft strikes me as a diss-service not to have them in earlier.

And for those that don't "get it" - a plastic dock is NOT a good surface for making a fire.
(have a photo somewhere, but can't find it)

I still don't understand why some people even fun it necessary to just have a fire burning while fishing. But then I like to move around a lot.

I was at Yuba yesterday. Both docks are out at Oasis. That was a pleasant change to see. Hats off to the state park crew there.
