The signing of this bill by the Governor in its final form will set new license fees effective July 1, 2014 and eliminate the need for a 2-pole permit after that date provided you have purchased a higher cost fishing license on or after that date. I would assume that if you purchase your license before that date then you will still need to have the 2-pole permit to actually fish with 2 poles. But further guidance and clarification on that point will need to come from the DWR.[/size][/#800000][/font]
