[:/] While browsing the forum I came across some information that wasn't very clear about Brownlee, and that I was unaware of, so I researched the Oregon regulations and came across the following rule: "However, when fishing tributaries, sloughs or from sloughs or from lands within either state, the angler must be licensed by the state where the waters (or land) are located.".
In reference to the Powder Arm where is the line drawn as to how far you can go in the arm and still be legal if you have an Idaho fishing license?

Actually, Duck-slayer, Iceflyer and I all had a bit of a run in with a fish cop from Oregon over this exact issue during the ice season. In the end we all agreed and it seems fairly clear with the exception of the Powder river arm. He indicated to us that there are large signs and it is obvious when you cross that line. I haven't been there, though.

He indicated that if you are fishing from a boat (or should I say, floating device, which are the words I think he used) the signs should be plenty visible. If you are not fishing from a boat (or floating device), then you'll need an Oregon fishing license any way, so it wouldn't matter either way. (Note that docks are not considered floating devices as they are attached to the shore.)

Hope this helps.
Can't miss the signs, there is a nice state park in there. I don't even waste my time there anymore, go to sturgill cr or the grizzly bear.
