My daughter and I are twenty minutes away from Deer Creek to go fishing this morning. I was going to take her to Lincoln Beach to fish for Walleye, but I did not like the weather pattern. She only fishes once our twice a year and I wanted her to catch at least 4 or 5 fish. I doubted my skills that I could put her on that many fish at LB.
Did I make a mistake?
I would like to catch Walleye tomorrow, any recent reports from LB? [bobhappy]

It's hard to beat Deer Creek for quick catching of some fun Rainbows.
I'm personally tired of that kind of fishing but whenever I'm taking the kids, it's always Deer Creek or Strawberry to keep them occupied reeling in fishies.
I was at LB yesterday in my tube and didn't catch anything... that was, however, my first walleye targeting run out there so I have a high noob factor.

Well I'm not too sure hasn't been good for us. Caught many rainbow trout by the red sandy area on West side of lake.. Good luck!
Did okay but not as good as hoped. Trip was short but fun, only landed two fish and lost 4 others. One nice Brown and one rainbow. Fish were not very aggressive, maybe that's why we lost the 4. Thanks for the tip fishlady09 and masterdaad.

Were you shore or boat fishing? Shore fishing I wouldn't have been much help.
If you were in a boat sorry I didn't send over more tips

Boat fishing.
Ran dodgers, squids, Rapalas, LuckyCrafts, Vibrax, black buggers, plain crawlers, drifted powerbait, And KCT pink hotheads.
The brown came from a KCT black/white spinner, the rb came from the plain crawler, and all the other fish hit the KCT hothead.
My daughter had to be home early so we had to quit at noon.
I wished i could of stayed longer and ran the hotheads longer.
I had an excellent trip with my daughter and the lake was glass until 11:30.
