The Review is in, installed a 55lb, 54" shaft 12v Terrova on the boat and have been nothing but satisfied! Satisfied is an understatement it is truly a game changer! My buddy got the MG Xi5 and the same holds true for it as well. We spend way more time fishing and less time on the trolling motor, both are great units. It really comes down to product loyalty you cant lose with either.

One thing I thought was I still needed a foot control, now that I have a remote I dont even touch my foot control, but its still nice to have.

Awesome! What size boat do you have.
I have a small 14 ft. Mirro Craft and just upgraded from a 40lb. transom mount to a 50 lb. Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 bow mount. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet and with the sounds of the windy weather this weekend it won't happen for a while. I do a lot of bass and walleye fishing so I hope I won't be dissapointed

I got the 80 last year, Hands down the best thing I have bought in years. I also wanted the foot pedal just incase, so it sits in my storage and have never had to break it out yet.
