Story 2:
Got to the Web. about 12:30 today 4/9, had a long conversation about stuff with the the property manager. Hit the first hole with Rusty, nothing. The second hole, a nice rainbow. rusty was interested as long as it was swimming in the shallows but not so much after on dry land. Went to the next hole and had a hook up. What the heck --------- a nice 14 in smallie??? Wow. My new Okuma Sierra reel worked good. Caught a bunch more rainbows and decided. enough. Thru sticks for Rusty and he did good retrieving from the river. It's kind of funny watching him in water over his head. Dog paddling vertically with not much swimming ability. I guess, at 5 mos, he's doing ok Need to work on swimming. Was done at 2:30 and was happy as --------------- well, I'll let you guys fill in the blanks.

Those kind of stories bring a to my face and my heart Fred! Sure glad the new pup is gettin into the fun things now. I guarantee the ol Sparkinator is fishing with the angels now. Heaven is a better place with him there! I'm still workin on a nickname for the new pup though.....[cool]

Bass do love a long slide down the dam. I've caught one bass 2 years ago below rockport dam.

Nice report Fred. Too bad about the reel but at least you got years of use out it first. Good to read the pup did good, sounds like he is a keeper.[] A smally in the Weber what next, a pike[crazy].

Wonderful.
My new pup doesn't have the love for tennis balls (yet), but has a fascination with my bobber. Especially when it bounces, and something wiggly emerges! She can't wait for what's next.

You inspired me to make sure she's a fishin' dog. Next will be a puppy platform on the boat so she can spot carps ahead for me.
