My 3-year-old nephew, York, stayed the night Friday, so we decided to do some fishing. Hit the water around 4 and fished a couple hours in Wolftever. Thankfully, some worms I got a few weeks ago for fishing with another little person were still alive, so York spent most of the time sitting in the floor of the boat, pulling worms out and getting dirty. Needless to say, he had a blast.

We wound up boating 4 or 5 crappie (only one keeper - the rest were 9.5ers) and a tiny bluegill. Strangely, it seemed I would pass the rod to York right when a fish got on, so he had a pretty good day. Must be the magic touch...haha

He's pictured holding the one keeper. A bit frightened of the prospect, but he did it and thanked me close to 4 million times for the outing.
