Apr 14, 2014 – Tim’s Ford Fishing Report, – Mr Shay Doming joined me for a short evening trip in pursuit of some Smallmouth. We focused on the front two thirds of main lake pockets which consisted of transition areas of chunk rock to gravel in 8 to 20 FOW and caught a mixed bag of Largemouth and Smallmouth. Our best results came on finesse baits rigged on a spot remover. We also fished shock wave swim baits from Missile Baits, Texas rigged D-Bombs and Tightline Football head Jigs. Water temperatures ranged from 57-60 degrees. Now is the time to make your reservations for some exciting late spring fishing on Guntersville and Tim’s Ford! I have days available throughout the winter and spring with full time Professional USCG Licensed/Insured guides. As always, we supply all fishing gear including Duckett Rods, LEW’s Reels, lures, and drinking water at no additional cost you, Military Discount and the dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in”

Visit www.midsouthbassguide.com to check on our and more photos and sign up for my monthly newsletter
