Fished my 2nd straight month without my partner, who's our big stick!! emoBawl Hadn't been out but a few hrs. Fri. due to being out of town & a sinus infection that I still have. Didn't find much then & found even less Sat. Thought I could get a few shallow early, but the long fog delay changed that. still tried shallow for a couple of hrs, but only caught 1 slick. Moved to some transition banks, 8-10', & finally got a keeper on a shakey. Tried 3 other similar areas, nothing, went to a shallow, windy flat & managed another keeper & lost another fish on a spinnerbait & my day was done! I severely stunk! Worst tourney we've had in at least 3 years! But this one was all on me, Brent had nothing to do with it! I was a lost ball in high weeds out there! That's a tough feeling!! Ol Humble Pie spent the whole day in the boat with me! Can't wait til May! I'll have my big gun back with me & I can get back to my netting & culling skills! emoDance
