I am new to this site and love reading the fishing reports. I am from Smithfield and am planning a trip to the berry on the 23rd. I want to know if the ice is safe and if the fishing is good before I go down there for nothing. I fished currant creek last year and caught a ton of fish. I you like to keep fish and want to catch a lot currant creek is the best bet. They keep that road cleaned up really pretty good so you don't have any problems making into there. Any information on the berry would be great.

hey c&r welcome to the board! Good luck at the berry. Last I heard the bays had a little ice but not safe. Who knows by the 23rd could be iffy but maybe others have some better info.

most of the berry is frozen now,some of the bays have as much as 6" ice on them. Chartreuse foxee's should do well for you.

Has anyone seen the white or chartreuse foxy jigs in smaller sizes? I found some last year, but cant find any this year?

I love to fish for anything that will bite. I fish for all kinds of fish. I mainly fish the Logan area and Southern Idaho. I have had great sucess for some really big fish in Southern Idaho. I also fish the Uintah Basin area a lot for Bass and Bluegill. I love Pelican Lake. When I go out there it is always a 15-20 fish day.
