I'll be heading down south Saturday. Wondering how fishing at Utah lake has been? Any good on white bass? This trip could be my first fishing trip of the year. Any help would be appreciated!

White bass are not terribly plentiful or large this year, apparently, though I caught quite a few in the Jordan this winter, but they should be moving closer to shore right soon. Catfish should be a good bet over by Lindon, Lincoln Beach, etc. A couple warm days in a row at this time of year should put them up in the shallows. Worried myself about finding crappies and bluegills with all the phrag being beaten down, but in the harbors should be picking up for panfish.

Didn't mean to discourage you! I might be heading down right now after work.

Nice to hear you'll be living up to your name. Maybe you'll find another big whopper Walleye! Expect the bass and cats could be busy in by shore.

You gonna stop by Cabelas while you're "in the neighborhood?" Keep thinking I'll run into you along the river, but I haven't been that much, but some of the regulars have I think.

Welp - good luck, hope you have a good trip.
Fished it Thursday. Used worms and white bass meat. Few bites, caught the one white bass and that was it. Hope it picks up here shortly. Fished Lincoln Beach area and the dike by the airport.

You where helpful. If I went and fished but didn't catch anything. I would've heard an ear full from the wife. [laugh]

Never made it to any fishing stores. Which is a good thing..
Figured you'd be out fishing a lot by now?
