I took a nice day trip out to Yuba to look for some Pike. It was only 28 degrees at 8:00 AM, and the water temp had dropped all the way back down to 49 degrees. pulled in one tiny pike and let the lures fly all day long.
When we left the lake at 4:00PM the water temp was still in the very low 50's which seems to keep the bits slow at Yuba.
It was a horribly windy day with major white caps for all but about 1.5 hours, so that didn't hep when trying to head along the banks to cast and reel.
