Well Guess who got the HELMET, It Was a rather STRANGE evening fishing Carlsbad this eve....Before sunset, a few diving birds, brought a Good Sign to Us, But the pickin's were a little scratchy......SO I thought !!! After 1 hour William Taylor of the USSAA brought in a Bat Ray that weighed in at 52.8 lbs...on 15lb. line in the surf ! I Was a preety cool sight...Beyond that, By Quinky Dink, I began talking to a area resident, shareing tales a discovered this guy to be a person I have been looking in W.O.N. occasionaly for " George Meyer".He's a Devoted Surf fisher, that "IS" A true HALIBUT EXPERT , And When I "THOUGHT" the pikin's were scracthy...I Was wrong!!! He invited me to help clean the afternoon's catch, and WOW, Only 1, he kept, out of 3, and it was the small one !!! 18lbs.......I Have a invitation back soon...I Let You all Know.......Se ya' on the Water!<br><br>
