[]I have been reading this sight for a while now and really enjoy the posts. At first I really did not think fisherman would share their sucesses and hard earned methods but this sight seems different. I like to catch it if it swims and really enjoy taking my grandkids and teaching them as you have no dought figured out from my signon name. I haven't had the chance to ice fish this year because we just got back from a week hunting trip to Colorado and then had to fill a couple of doe tags but intend to start the 26th. I promise to share our trips and if we are sucessful will pass on what, where, and how fish were caught. Buy the way has anyone heard anything about Rockport (which is one of our favorite places to icefish). I have called the state park number three times this week but can get noone to answer and their recording was last update on Dec. 5th. Look forward to being part of what seems to be a great bunck of people.

Welcome! The people here are fantastic. Many is the time I would ask for information from individuals, especially face-to-face, and all I get back would be sneers, dirty looks and maybe a "Mmpfh" or something unrecognizable. The BFT folks enjoy sharing their successes and even their failures (that way you know where not to go or what not to use.)[blush] Again, welcome aboard!

Haven't heard much about rock port this year, but is sure is a fun place to ice fish. Welcome aboard, it's nice to have you here.

Welcome aboard, F4G. You'll like it here. I remember the one and only fishing trip my grandpa and I had together, and it was amazing! Wish we would have had more together. He's at the eternal fishing waters now.

As for Rockport, I haven't heard anything yet, but I'd recommend also checking out the dwr's website. Don't know the exact web address, but you can get a link to it by going to ksl.com, and then click on the "tv" link, then click on the "outdoors" link, and you'll find a link right there. Let us know if YOU here anything on Rockport.
