I went out for an hour and a half today to catch some cats. We were predicted to get some rain and thunderstorms but it held off, which made it good for me. 
I fished below the dam and caught 3 cats - 7.5 lb Channel, 15 lb Blue, and a 6.5 lb Blue. Bait was cut skipjack. Fish fought great in shallow water. They are so aggressive!
