Went into town for Mother's Day this weekend so dad and I decided to hit the Dead Sea aka Tims Ford for a few hours this morning. It wasn't so dead today. Prolly one of the best days I've ever had numbers wise on this lake. Put in about 7:30 and fished til about 1:00. Caught fish all day long flippin a creature bait on wood and chunk rock along creek channels. Best depth was when boat was sitting in about 15-16 ft of water. Mostly largemouth but did get into a real good school of smallmouth about 12:30 where dad caught 9 in a span of about 10 mins on a crankbait including 3 good keepers. Caught about 30 fish total and the biggest LM was about 3.5 but had a ball catching that many fish on Tims. Best 5 would've been about 14-15 lbs and water temp was 71-75.
