Buy it online and print out a temporary that can be used until the hard copy comes in the mail.

Are you talking about a season pass or just the daily fee?

If you are talking about a season pass, it is as was described to you. If are just talking about a daily fee, there are fee envelopes at the State park entrances that are filled out with your payment and put in the "iron ranger" if the pay station is not manned.

State park pass. Where on utah lake is it good?

I know the envelope concepts pretty well because I used it at rockport and dc on the ice a few times.[laugh]

It is only good at the Utah State Park in Provo.

I have bought one at jordanelle before. I can't remember off the top of my head where they are good for. I just know I get my moneys worth out of them every year.

The State Park pass comes in two varieties. One covers only one (1) park while the other covers all State Parks. Utah Lake has only one St.Park, Provo Harbor. Strawberry has NO State Parks, nor is your Golden Eagle Pass for Federal Parks good there. In addition to buying on line, you can purchase a pass at any State Park.
Not good at Pineview, either. That's a Forest Service lake, and the (outrageous) fees are collected by a concessionaire.

Ya I'm sure not taking my big pontoon there. Rather find a free parking spot and toss my float tube out there unless if my parents go camping then I will bring the toon.

Here is a list of the State Parks that would be covered by the season pass.
