Made the trip up Fairview canyon last Friday in hopes of some ice off, but to no avail, electric lake had some open water, but you had to walk through snow covered roads and the small area had a gaggle of flippers there already. Huntington was completely covered and at Cleaveland we broke through ice only to get into about 8-10 feet of water, no luck at all. Hopefully this warm weather this week changes all that and we can get into some fish.[fishon]

I have fished Electic Lake twice this week once sunday and once yesterday. We landed fish consistantly from 5:30 till dark both nights. There was no ice on the lake as of last night it was completely open. Cleveland has ice off conditions but the moss around the edges has made it difficult. Also fished at a very small spot at Mammoth but there is not quite enough room to be efficient there yet. It was only a couple of feet of open water.
E lake the spinners were working great. Little Jakes and kastmasters in gold seemed to be the ticket. Fish were hitting them within 5 feet of shore in really shallow water. We caught mostly tigers and a couple were 18+ inches.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like we might need to wait a couple more weeks before we try camping up there.
