Sunday we honored 10 wounded warriors with a fishing trip and steak fry. These valiant men were wounded in battle and Afghanistan. There were also 2 women soldiers that had been injured during the Iraq campaign.
We were out on Hand in Hand Outdoors big pontoon, Freedoms Dream for 4 hours in the morning with very slow fishing where it had been very good the day before, also when with wounded warriors.
Around noon we returned to the Provo Boat Harbor for an afternoon steak fry and rides on Cross Marines big Airboat and enjoying the singing and guitar playing of Kolby Gleave.
Next week on Wed I will return to take a boat full of WWII veterans from the Payson veterans Home. I hope the fishing improves when the crowds go away. God bless our veterans.
