Took the grandkids to Provo boat harbor for some bluegills. We caught a bunch and quite a few crappies as well. We kept enough of the gills to eat and released all of the crappies. We fished around the docks using a small chunk of worm below a small bobber. Most of the bites were light.

We moved around a bit, because anytime we caught a few fish we attracted a crowd. Most of the others didn't do well, even when I tried to show them exactly how to rig and what to do. I even gave away a couple small bobbers and shared worms.

I would guess our total was about 40 fish.

That is a lot of fish to fillet. Looks like a great trip.

Glad to see Bluegills can still be found in numbers - the constant action can be a lot of fun for kids.
