Float tubing on Utah Lake is what I look forward to every week. Lindon has been hot, so I don't have a reason to try other spots, but I will at some point.

I've realized that my fishing trips mainly entail myself obsessively staring at my rod tip for hours... and hours - waiting for the hits[crazy]. I keep my drag loose and I wait for the bendo and screaming reel before I pick up the rod. Ever since I switched from circle hooks to trebles I've been landing twice as many fish.

ULC-- Fun to watch. Especially liked the nice calm water. I'm doin' about the same thing from my boat. Agree that the treble results in lots more hook ups. I find it tuff to run two lines... always end up with a major squirrel's nest of tangles.

Wiperhunter-- speed on my I-pilot shows .4 to .6... bites are vicious.

Water temp on UL was 67 degrees Sat. -- carp were going bananas everywhere. Tomorrow should be big time action. I'm ready. []
