Yesterday after sleeping in and doing my neighbors lawn I just had to hit Utah lake once again for fish tacos and fish on the grill for my parents.

Got on the lake around 5pm and left at 9 pm. End up slapping 30+ crappie 7-10", 1 dinky 4" sun fish, and 20+ bluegill 7-9" with just a couple being 5". For sure it was nice feeling the 9" blue gills running for their lives instead of going into circle mode [laugh].

This trip sure did destroyed my other trip a few days ago with 9 crappie and many rip n lip trip.

Same fly, or did you try something new?

Nice bunch of fish!

Were you wading the shore or did you take your tube/pontoon?

Thanks for the report.

I caught them all on a 2 orange scud rig. About 1' apart from each other.

From shore. Might try from pontoon next week. Next day off debating to hit somewhere for bass. I really need my line to run and make my rod bend.
