I see a lot of people holding a rod in their hand while trolling and driving the boat.

I would like to avoid that if I can. Do you have a rod holder for the driver or is that to many things to do at one time. If you do where is a good place to mount it? Or where would you not mount it? any pictures?

I have one mounted on the passenger side. I haven't been able to locate a good spot yet for one on the pilot side yet. I have a throttle and windshield in the way. Here are a couple of pics. Also have Scotty type rod holder mounts as well mounted on the sides.

Albinotrout thanks for replying. It is a dilemma I took the boat out Saturday and held the rod while trolling. I tried figuring out a good spot to put a rod holder while on the water, but like you said the throttle and windshield are in the way. I will have to give it some more thought.
