So my parents got me a pair of waders a few christmas's ago and basically now they have some holes beyond repair so I need to get new ones. I don't know what ones my parents got me so I am looking for recommendations of good pairs and where has the best price for them. I want ones that go up to your chest. I'm also a poor college student on a budget and honestly am a "slob" who probably will get holes in them pretty fast so I don't want the most fancy/expensive one out there. Thanks guys

For under $200 Cabelas make some very decent waders.
BUT....if you want the best, and have $300 + lying around, there's no beating Simms.

My favorite is the lightweight breathablible stocking foot chest wader. Shoes are a separate item.
They are so comfortable I stay in them all day and even sleep in them instead of a tent for lighter weight backpacking. I've used them for so much more than fishing.
They are in camouflage and for years, I've wanted to buy extras to always have a spare one in preparedness backpacks, but haven't seen them in camouflage in recent years.
You might not care about camouflage, so in solid colors they are plentiful and a great choice for comfort even when hiking. I've worn them camping on muddy rainy days and hunted in them through wet slush.
If anyone has seen them in camouflage lately, then please tell me where.

Sierra trading post has the best deals on waders I've found anywhere. I've bought multiple waders off of that website for literally 50-75% less than what they normally cost. They sell closeout waders, but they are still brand new. They have a good return policy too.

If you go to Cabelas and are on a budget, don't overlook the bargain cave. I bought a pair of chest neoprenes off the rack and didn't like the fit, went back for a bigger size, and while there toured the bargain cave. I found a pair that normally retails for 250 for 90. Brand new but you could tell they had been worn and they had no box. They told me I had a couple weeks to try them out and return them if I had any issues. My first trip out at DC I waded in chest deep to check for leaks and love them.
