I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the bait shop that was just north of the Shallae. I believe the old man's name was Mr. Whitaker ( I think) He used to sell some bait, a dough bait. Anybody remember the name of it? Or does anyone know if he has any living relatives. Thanks

My step dad has only fished a handful of times. As a kid his mom would swing by and get that dough bait with him. It still is one of his favorite memories to tell me about when it comes to fishing.

[#0000FF]Ed would never tell anybody exactly what was in it. But I knew another guy who made something similar and it worked. He mixed Velveeta cheese and flour. Then added anise (licorice) and coloring. His favorite coloring was the Pautzke's Fireball red stuff. He also made a yellow mix...with yellow food coloring.
