I made it to Scofield yesterday for my first boating trip of the year.
Lots of fish (two of us landed 86 from 6AM to Noon) but nothing picture-worthy.
Most were 13-15in skinny Cutts. We did catch three 18 inchers.
And a BIG one that broke us off. [fishin]
10 were big chubs. Some of which were quickly converted into bait. Others are in the freezer for future bait. Nothing else came home.
It didn't seem to matter what we threw at them. At one point we had fish simultaneously on four poles: Fly, tube jig, wedding ring and worm, and rapala.
Hopefully I'll find a picture worthy fish next trip.
