I spent the week in God's country. One of my favorite places in the world. I headed out Friday morning with my grandpa and uncle, and after a few mishaps arrived at our destination about 5:45 pm.

After a quick camp set up, it was time to hit the water. It was non-stop action from start to finish. I stopped counting after a while, but estimate I caught 60+ fish Friday and Saturday. All were browns except for one lonely cut. The single cut had some really beautiful colors. The brightest red fins and jaw slashes I have ever seen. The hot lure of the weekend was a gulp minnow (thanks LOAH), followed in second by a gold blue fox. I saw an absolute monster fish (I'm guessing 30" and 15+lbs come blasting right up to shore trying to catch an 8 or so inch fish, but the little guy got away. It really got my hopes up to catch a hog, but I didn't manage anything over 22 or so inches. We packed up and got back home Sunday night. Boy was it nice to get out and away from the crowds. I didn't see a single other soul besides my uncle and grandpa the entire weekend... Heaven. Anyways here's some more pictures...
