i Went up to east canyon Saturday for some bass and hopefully some crappie on the fly rod from my float tube. Water levels are very low so my traditional crappie spot was a no go so i focused on new spots to target, i pulled double bugger rigs above some submerged brush for about an hour picking up 4 or so small smallies but no Crappie to show.
Decided on another area to try to find some warmer coves or flats and was only rewarded with one more bass but it was a healthy fat 14 inch chunk that fought like crazy on a 4 weight. It wasnt the fastest action but i managed a few in the 4 hours i was there.

The next morning I had to get out again and do some more fishing since i had a less than stellar day at EC prior. Hit the weeb at 8 am and went to where i killed it last weekend, the flows are up and moving pretty good compared to last week and this particular spot that was good to me only coughed up a few 12 inch whitefish.
With the water higher its creating good runs with fish but they were being picky like normal when water levels fluctuate that fast between reservoirs.
Went to another hole and worked it really hard to catch about 10 browns each mostly smaller sized, 14 inchers about. But then i was rewarded by a beautiful 19 inch brown on a stonefly and about 15 minutes later my Old man landed a even better 20.05 incher on a Rainbow Warrrior.

I Love the Weber[cool]

Thanks remo, they are some of the most quality fish ive caught in this section for a year or 2, hopefully they keep the flows somewhat consistent to have better/more consistent fishing.
