Full Version: LAKE PUEBLO STATE PARK OFFERS LITTLE NATURALIST AND STAR-GAZING PROGRAMS

PUEBLO, Colo. - Lake Pueblo State Park is offering programs for kids ages 4-8 and their parents designed to inspire young children to embrace nature and to encourage children and parents to enjoy the outdoors together. Each program includes a hands-on activity. All programs are Fridays from 10 to 10:45 a.m., and meet at the Lake Pueblo Visitor Center. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is required.

Star Gazings<br />
Lake Pueblo along with the Southern Colorado Astronomical Society are hosting monthly star gazing events. Telescopes and experiences members of the society will be available, but you can bring your own equipment too. All star gazing events will be held at the park Visitors Center starting at 8:30 p.m., weather permitting on June 14, July 5, August 16 and September 6.
