Hit pineview early today looking for muskie on the fly. Water is high, around 70 degrees, and a lot of cover and things to lose expensive flies and lures on. Started wit a mouse, switched to a big flashy fly i used for pike last week. Saw some fish follow, 2 monsters, and watched one around 30 bite half my fly and spit it. Might have went too big. Crappie were spawning and hiding in the thick cover. All small, 4-6". And saw some perch cruising the shallows in small schools. Stuck to the tigers for a good 8 hrs til i had nothing left to throw, but no catching this time. Hell of a rush to see those monsters up close.
