Has anyone been up to the Uintas recently? I just got back from texas and need to get away for a few days. How are the roads up there?

I have been up there the past couple days. The lower roads are clear, and of course highway has been open since memorial day. Gate still closed at Trial and the other roadside lakes but access is easy and mostly snow free. Mirror lake is open. Most of the roadside lakes have been very slow, Trial was ok. Have fun!

Thanks for the update. So basically all the road side lakes are a go, right?

Was just up there today, and yes all road side lakes are a GO. Camping on the other hand...very limited as most campgrounds are still locked up (except in the lower elevations). I hit Trial today for a short 20 minutes or so and had to walk up the dam because there is a snow drift blocking the entrance still.
