We fished the dogfight last night and it was a good night with no rain and cooler temps. It was pretty slow actually with us only boating 10 bass but they were all keepers. We filled our limit but only had 2 good fish and one was the 7.7? pounder that won us big fish. We culled up here and there and in the last hour Jeff boated a nice keeper in the 3lb range that helped and then I landed the other big fish that was in the 6-6.5 range. We felt MUCH better when we went in to the dock. We had a relatively small crowd I thought but a great night on the lake. We got first and big fish with 22.??and I believe Oscar and partner got 2nd with 16.?? Most fish were caught on worms in grass or out on the edges. Didn't notice water temps but I'd say it was still in upper 70s.
