I'm new to this site but am looking forward to interacting with each of you. Utah is a very special place to fly fish. The locals are usually busy with large families on the weekends so mid week on any stream or ski hill are always wonderful.

I thought I'd start a post to get to know some of you about "special moments" on the Utah waters. "Special" is a Utah word which comes Tongue in cheek. :-)

Special moments: a thread for amazing moments on the Utah streams and rivers. I'll start with this story: I was on the old road just off the bridge there between Peoa and Park City on the Weber fly fishing in the winter when a young 10 inch tall otter came down on an ice ledge and began diving for and eating crawdads a few yards from me. Any other stories from your special moments in Utah are welcome!
