I had just finished eating when my phone rang. It was Whiskers, I thought he would be calling to tell me how he was catching the crappie. Instead he tells me he is stranded on the river with his motor not working. He then goes on to tell me he thought it was out of oil and it shuts down when that happens. emoRolleyes Goes on to ask if I had any extra oil and if I could help him out. Just so happens I did and off I went. Found him half way between Chester and the Nuke. Gave him the oil and his motor ran like it was suppose to. It helps to check the oil level now and then. emoPoke <br /><br />Here I was out on the lake with my boat and the CFF nighter coming up. I just had to try it. Got started at 8:30 and drowned a crank and pulled a big jig. Nothing, notta, zip....not even a smell. Switched to plastics and started fishing grass and grass edges like me and Derek did at the last CBA. They were still there and I had a couple pretty nice bass. Nothing huge but decent. Best three were 4/4, 4/0 and 3/2, not a bad little three fish limit if that was in a CFF for 11 lbs and 6 oz. Had a couple other twos to go with them. I also missed a couple more but never lost one that I hooked. Left out at 11:30. I was pleased with that being just a three hour outing.<br /><br />Looking forward to the up and coming CFF night tournament. emoThumbsup Jmax
