Dad and I fished the dogfight out of the state ramp this evening. Our game plan was to make a long run to flip a couple of treetops then run back to a deep hump and camp. As most game plans go it quickly fell apart due to a nasty little thunderhead. We ended up just running to a series of drops and dragging jigs in 12-18 ft of water. We ended up with a 4 fish limit that were all magnum Coosa River spots weighing 13 pounds which was good enough for 2nd. All fish were caught on jigs that I make.
