I moved up to Star Valley Wyoming early this year and I have been so wrapped up in learning the lay of the land (and water) that I haven't been on BFT in a while. I am coming back to Utah to take my Grandpa, Dad, Brother and a few kids out on the Berry this Sunday and I don't have the foggiest idea how it's fishing. Any input to help us keep the kids in some fish would be greatly appreciated. I am guessing it's pretty warm and the fish are somewhat deep?
On another note, the fishing in God's country is proving very rewarding. Early season was COLD but productive. Right now everything is still running pretty high and dirty with the run off and the rain we have been getting. Salt Creek has been clear for a few weeks and the fish are not picky. Salt River and the Greys are still running fast but I have still had some luck in the slower pockets. I am still learning the water up here but if anyone has questions about specific waters I would be happy to tell you what I know. Of course I am open to suggestions from those of you who have fished this area more than I have as well.
Thanks,
LECH
