OK moms, dads, grandpas, etc. Here is your chance to get those kids out for a great event. Snake River Bassmasters is putting on our annual kid's (and ladies only) tournament at CJ Strike on July 19 (and July 20 for the ladies), launching from the Airforce ramp. Its a half day (morning) bass tournament with additional prizes available for biggest panfish as well. Buffalo Wild Wings is providing a BBQ lunch after weigh-in and we will also be having a raffle after the awards ceremonies. Check out the link below (scroll down and you'll see a clickable link to the application forms) for more information and feel free to contact the tournament director (hey, that's me!) with any questions.

$100k in boat liability insurance? For a kids event.
Its always a good time, see you there!

Are you suggesting that our small local club, or myself personally, accept liability for all contestants? This is pretty standard and I believe a requirement of FLW for any affliated clubs holding tournaments.
We emphasize safety as much as possible but things can happen. If it makes you feel better most open tournaments require $300K these days...
I have ~34 kids signed up as of last night. Rumor has it that Howard from Howard's Tackle will be making an appearance at the weigh in and bringing some goodies to give away, in addition to the donations from Cabela's, Boise Bass Busters, Payette River Bassmasters, and Snake River Bassmasters. If you're interested let me know and come on down. I have lots of stuff to give away and the lake is fishing really well right now.
