fished are club tournament sat on chickamauga started off pretty good except the weather was nothing like the last few days we practice practice days were hot and sunny and then sat was cloudy and rain.We had a limit by 8:30 and slowly culled up to about 16 pounds by 11:00 then left that spot to go try to pick up a bigger fish on some deep spots we did good practicing and hit them with just one small keeper to show so we went back to the place we started and caught two more that culled. We had a little over !8 pounds then and was feeling good that was around 2:00 and around 2:30 we went to put more ice in the livewell and one was dead and one was dying and they were just fine a hour ago so we went from a high to a low pretty quick we had to throw the small dead one back which was about 4 pounds and weigh in the other dead one with half pound deduction lost about 3.5 pounds cause of dead fish so we ended up in 6th with 16 something instead of second with 19 something.I have never had two fish die in a tournament one fish looked fine but the other one that died looked rough had some kind of green fungus on his gill plates and belly was bloody just looked rough. We caught all our fish in 8-10 ft of water on dingers and d-bombs with 16th ounce weight in the grass.O yea what happens to the deep bass on cloudy days we had good luck practicing deep when it was sunny but sat couldnt get a bite and didnt see anyone fishing the usual deep spots?
