So i am taking the family on a trip to raft the green river by flaming gorge. any tips would be great as far as what the fish are biting. It has been about fifteen years since I was down there and at the time woolly buggers was the ticket. Let me know if you have any pointers as I would like to get my kids on some fish. Thank you in advance.

Fly Fishing or spin casting?
Buggers are still a good choice either way.

This time of year terrestials are always good ,(grass hopper, cricket patterns ect...) If you are using spinning gear, try jakes lures in gold with red spots, and repalas are always a good bet especially if you float down through the B and into the C section where there are more browns and larger fish.

Get a hold of TUBEDUDE and get some copper pats... Those jigs are like crack to the trout up there. Get them on the bottom and twitch twitch... Good luck!

These lures are great on the Green. Be sure to have some of them when you go.
