July 27 2014 Lake Guntersville – Hit the water today as a tournament angler for the first time in 3-4 years, Black/Blue Mussel Crawler Jig with a D-Bomb paid off today with five fish for 24.65 pounds and my non boater had 17.10 pounds for a combined total of 41.75 and the win. Yes, all fish where release alive and well. We also used and caught fish on a DT 16 Rapala Crank Bait. Water temperatures range from 82-84 degrees on the main lake/channel. It took just over 21 pounds for the win in Saturday’s King Frog Tournament…setting the stage for The 10th Annual Snag Proof Frog Only tournament is 9 Aug 2014 out of Goose Pond.
