We was out checking some new spots to try out for catfish since its been slow for us so far. Pulled in on the first spot and about ten minutes in started getting bites but nothing big hitting the rods. I had just got a 10 pound blue cat in the boat when a rod started dancing I thought it was another small one so I left the rod in the holder while I unhooked the catfish. Got the catfish off then started reeling the other pole in when the drag just started screaming the fish pulled drag for a long time. Finally got the fish up to the surface and was shocked to see a nice striper come up. This is the first time I have caught one on skipjack before. I didn't have my gopro set up so I only got the last bit of the fish coming up on video. Turned him loose to fight again someday.

http://youtu.be/I3gzKYPydPc

http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh102/sdbillyg/Striper/NCM_0042.jpg
