Had not been out since the past weekend and thought I would go out and look around today for the Cancer Benefit tournament. I did not hit any place I had planned to go tomorrow but after today I may hit a couple of them. emoBig
Don&#39;t know what I am doing different but I just want to keep doing it. I have had two good months in June and July. This first day of August was another good one. The most shallow fish I caught today was in 15 feet and the most deep was in 26 feet. I never caught anything shallow really and did not have one blow up on top. However I had some pretty nice bass. Find the shad and it seemed the bass were not too far away. Looked for drops, structure, edges and ditches. All my fish came on bottom huggers. Best five were 5/11, 4/7, 4/0, 3/6 and 3/1. Not bad at all, best five at 20 lbs and 9 ozes. emoTongue Best three would be 14/2. I would take that tomorrow. emoBig Maybe with Mr. Big Fish along he could get a big kicker for us.
