Hit Strawberry today 8/8. Had a delay in Daniels Canyon because they are putting pea gravel down on the highway.
Forty seven degrees driving in and wind out of the northwest from the get go. Never did calm down. Not real strong but steady. Fished from 7:45 until noon.
Launched at Mud Creek (pretty shallow and not that easy to launch). Went out the the main part of the lake and headed north about 1/3 of a mile and about 250 yards from shore and 30ft deep. Used white or off colored white tube jigs tipped with a worm. Couldn't keep them off (all slot Cutts) even had a double with two poles out. Between the two of us we must have caught close to 40 fish and missed almost that many. We let the jigs hit the bottom and then a couple cranks of the reel. Great day fishing.
