Fished Strawberry on Saturday out of Strawberry Bay. The fish were scattered and suspended between 30-50 feet, and I had solid marks all day no matter where we went. We trolled w/downriggers, dodgers, and various baits and lures and we had steady action until we quit at about 1 PM. It didn't seem to matter what we used as long as we were at the right depth. All in all it was a great day fishing with the boys.

Since this is my first post, I'll leave a brief introduction. I am in the Air Force and we recently moved back to Utah from the Washington D.C. area. We were stationed at Hill AFB from 2005 to 2008. I am excited to be back and am looking forward to visiting all of my favorite fishing spots.

Welcome back, my son and I were out there on Saturday also. We put 27 cutts and 2 chub in the boat before we got off at 3pm as the weather was coming in. All the cutts went back in the lake. Normally we troll but with the calm water until 1 pm we just parked over the fish and hauled them in jigging. We were South East of the marina just over a mile. Fish were like you said in that 30 to 50 ft range.
Were any of the fish Kokanee or were they all cutts? Sounds like a great trip.

[#800000][font "Comic Sans MS"][size 3]Welcome back home brother; and thank you for your service. Stop by the gun club on base and say hello and join us for some clay target busting if you've a mind to. I'm sure your boys would enjoy that. Oh, and good job on the fishin'.
